'Little House' makes its way to St. Louis

Laura Ingalls Wilder's beloved series of books is coming to St. Louis in an unexpected way. "Little House on the Prairie," a new musical based on the book series of the same name, is coming to The Fabulous Fox Theatre on Nov. 24. Especially of note is the fact that Melissa Gilbert, who starred as Laura in the TV series based on the books that ran from 1974 to 1982, is playing Ma on the tour.
SLU group to sing a tune

Unique voice comes to St. Louis

St. Louis is getting an injection. Formerly of Alabama-based rock 'n' roll band Verdana, A.A. Bondy released his first solo album, American Hearts, in 2007. With the release of his second solo album, When the Devil's Loose, in September, Bondy has been touring consistently this year with artists like Conor Oberst and The Felice Brothers.
U Theatre delivers again

When they finally stop, they breathlessly look at each other, invigorated, as if sensing how much they need one another.
